The traveling exhibition "The Wheel of Invention - From ideas to patents" provides insights into the world of inventions and patents. Innovative technologies from the realms of ecology, medicine, mobility, information technology, sport, food science, production and every day life are shown. The combination of original and interactive exhibits, multimedia applications, films and graphical elements provide new perspectives on the potential applications of the patents thus put on view.
Exhibition Design
Eight spherical display structures support the exhibits, representing the eight themes of the exhibition. With their perfect shape of a 3-dimensional geometrical body, the spheres designate the notion of progress in science and technology. The metallic coating moreover reinforces the technical character of the exhibition. As individual modules, the spheres can be adapted to different spatial situations. They may be disassembled and are thus easy to transport.
