Fascinating Biotechnology
Next to a general introduction, the exhibition „Fascinating Biotechnology“ features ten innovative and exemplary projects from the field of integrated biotechnology, which is amongst the main areas sponsored by the contracting body. Numerous models, computer animations, experiments and original exhibits invite to touch, test and understand the biotechnological contexts thus presented, and show how the innovative biotechnological methods can conserve energy and resources, and how ecological cycles can be closed.
Exhibition Design
For the first exhibition to be shown in the DBU’s new building, ArchiMeDes developed a stylish exhibition system, thus underscoring the building’s elegant architecture. Hands-on were deveoloped for all the projects featured within the exhibition, which facilitate a playful approach to the complex biotechnological content and methodologies. Exhibts that are integrated into graphic displays allow the visitor to make a connection to their everyday life, and act as a visual incentive to take in the presented themes.
